Design Brief:
The main objective of this project was to design a booklet that serves as a comprehensive guide for vintage and retro enthusiasts exploring San Diego! The booklet was made to highlight SD’s most notable vintage/antique shops, giving readers an accessible and visually engaging guide to navigate the local retro scene. The goal was to create a thoughtfully organized, aesthetically cohesive booklet that not only showcases these locations but also enhances the overall experience of discovering unique, historically inspired fashion and throughout the city.
Inspired by the designs from the 60’s and early 70’s, I wanted to include an illustrated aspect to the book. I created a character named Vintage Vaughn and even made my own font to use as the title for each page
